This SketchGenie drawing tool provides an opportunity for everyone to be able to draw, SketchGenie is also beneficial for those not interested in drawing. The reason it aids in learning to draw is the same reason it helps your brain. That is the hand/eye coordination benefits it offers. SketchGenie can be used as a brain exercise and a break from crossword puzzles or other brain games. The hand/eye coordination could have even more benefits that we have yet to examine.
As an artist, I have noticed that since my practice with SketchGenie, my freehand drawing and painting has improved. I have become convinced that something happens in the brain to coordinate the hand and eye connection. that is why I believe SketchGenie to be a wonderful brain exercise. It seems to have something to do with copying one grid to another, looking at where the line meets the corners, figuring how far from the corner is the beginning of the line and at what point on the other line does it end? When placing the end of the line on the other side of the square, how close to the corner does it end? Look at the way the line curves. At what point in the grid does the line curve? Place a dot on your copy and draw that little curve following the dots you’ve placed. This all makes sense when you give it a try or watch the video.
